A Boy's Initiation

Last week we watched two neighbor children for a short time. One of the kids was a 11 month old boy...

Being that Hudson comes from a home with a sister that ruled the house for 3 1/2yrs before Hudson's older brother was born, there house, has more girly stuff. Where our house was ruled by boys for 3 1/2 yrs before Jilli was born, so you guessed it, we have BOY TOYS! Tyler must have realized this and quickly took Hudson under his wing to guide and teach him the rules of boyhood.

Rule #1... You must learn about the force. It is a basic lesson of survival in our house. Without it you will surely be destroyed. First boy toy in Hudson's hand??? A Lightsaber!
Rule #2... You must be able to adapt if you don't have a lightsaber (or the big kids are using them all). You must find something that is long and looks kind of like a lightsaber and has a double life of a bat (another good thing for boys to be comfortable using).

Rule #3... Don't forget rule #1 or #2
I think by the smile on Hudson's face he was very happy with the time Tyler took to instruct him on the fundamentals of boyhood. Thank you Tyler for your very caring personality. You can see when people need just a little extra help and you are willing to take the time to help them. That is a God given Gift! I praise Him because you are fearfully and wonderfully made! I Love You!
Blessings!
