Crafts, New Friends, Hay...

The next set of pictures are from our Octoberfest weekend last year.  The campground that we are members at put on a weekend that is geared towards Halloween.

One of the activities they do is craft time.  You know, the kind of craft kids love to do and you love to throw away.  They had a choice to make either a haunted house, a bat or a ghost.  Tyler and Jilli made the haunted house, Micah made the bat.

Jilli looks so little here.  Her hair is so short!  My baby is growing up...

One of the stickers ended up on Daddy's nose and since he is a good sport about this sort of thing, it stayed there longer than it would have had it been placed on my nose.

Even Romeo had a great time, he met some new friends.  It is always funny to watch people with their dogs.  Usually they run the other way when they see him, especially when he wears his promise collar. He wears it so that when we walk him he doesn't pull, he still has complete use of his mouth. But most people don't understand that.  It is always nice to meet people (with dogs) that aren't scared of him and allow their dogs to meet Romes.  He is such a gentle giant.

Another one of the activities is 'rumble in the hay'.  The kids get to go digging for treasures that they love and I just want to throw away (are we seeing a pattern here?)  But... because the kids love the treasures they find, they usually stay for a day or two.

That is all for tonight.  I am a little tired after a long morning of schooling three kids and an afternoon spent downtown at Artprize.  If you have never been, you really should, it's pretty awesome.

Blessings!!
