Oh, to know what Grandpa was thinking right here... as he gazes upon a B-25, a plane that he flew back in the day when he could still run and jump, before he knew any of his children's names, before he was even married. A time when life seemed to stretch out before you as a clean canvas, just waiting for the artist to add life and color to the blank screen.
December 7, 1941 changed the life for many people in this country. It changed the life of this man.. E. Bud Koorndyk. Two weeks after the attack, he enlisted in the USAAF... his life would never be the same....
